Epure

After a university/anthropology course devoted to African cultures, Justine Lacoste-Hay de Slade discovered porcelain painting. A strong bond is created between the young woman and matter/earth. She decided to change her orientation, to train with ceramic craftsmen, turners, to confront herself and to engage in the world of ceramics. In 2011 she founded Epure / her brand, her workshop. His work focuses on Limoges porcelain and sandstone. His creations are pure, they exude strength, character and great delicacy. The whiteness of porcelain or the sandy hues of sandstone are the colours of the work of Atelier Epure. In 2014, her husband Jean Hay de Slade joined her world. Epure has become a family history.
