Francesco Rota graduated in product design at Art Center College of Design in 1994. He started his own studio in 1998 and worked in different fields of design: products, furniture, showrooms, offices, residential interiors and events design for: Fiat, Knoll International, L'Oreal Paris, Lema, Living Divani, Mercedes Benz, Moroso...Francesco Rota has been awarded with 2 honorable mentions for the Compasso d'Oro with Linea and Island which are today in the Historical Collection of the ADI Compasso d'Oro Award.

Francesco Rota has taken part in several exhibitions held at: St Etienne Biennale du Design, Triennale di Milano, Moss New york, Royal Academy of Arts London...and other private galleries and showrooms around the world.
