Akva Waterbeds
Akva Waterbeds, founded in 1981, offers unique, high-quality waterbeds. Especially manufactured in Denmark to meet the needs of individual customers, the beds are both designer and extremely comfortable. Water is a source of harmony and well-being for the body and mind. Sleeping on water is a unique experience. The waterbed shapes itself to the contours of your body without putting pressure on your shoulders, neck or back, regardless of your sleeping position. Akva waterbeds are plasticised with a biological product called Mesamoll II which guarantees that the mattress is long lasting and keeps its shape.

Design House Stockholm
With the aim of enhancing everyday life, Design House Stockholm has been changing the way people think about their living and working space for many years. The secret to their success is that they work with an extensive network of more than 60 independent designers, in the same way publishing houses work with authors. They collaborate with both new, up-and-coming talent and established names. Although the majority of their designers are from Scandinavia,  they work with designers from all over the world in order to find that special Scandinavian touch.

Unlike many other companies, they don&rsquot try to force the fresh and free designs into a fixed production apparatus. Instead they use their extensive networks to find the right kind of production facilities, at the same time as exploring new production methods. All this transforms ideas into real products. Their collection of  functional and aesthetically refined design products of timeless appeal ranges from tableware and lighting to furniture and textiles.

Ester & Erik Maison & Objet Hall 6 / U60

In Denmark, candles are used to create a relaxing, friendly atmosphere, turning any occasion into something special. With its long dark winters, Denmark has a strong tradition for making outstanding quality candles. Ester and Erik Møller began producing dipped candles in 1987. Their vision was to uphold the proud traditions, creating elegant candles of superior quality for an exclusive and critical circle of customers. Since then, Ester & Erik have developed the concept, improving and refining the traditional candle-making methods. Today, the company produces tapered, block and conical candles with exciting new surfaces, including mother-of-pearl and lacquer.

Clara von Zweigbergk
Clara von Zweigbergk, born in Stockholm, studied graphic design and illustration at Beckmans School of Design, Stockholm, and at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, USA. She has worked as a graphic designer with advertising agencies and designers in Stockholm, Los Angeles and Milano. In 1997 she founded Rivieran Design Studio, with two partners, a multi disciplinary agency spawning many successful collaborations within fashion, illustration, architecture, furniture, product, and graphic design. After four years of employment as a senior graphic designer at Lissoni Associati in Milano, with clients such as Boffi, Armani and Alessi, she started a studio in Stockholm.

Cara von Zweigbergk currently pursues her great interest in paper, color, typography and hand craft through projects ranging from corporate identities, art direction, packaging and book design, as well a growing series of products. In addition Clara teaches at Beckmans College of Design.
