D'un Jardin à l'Autre has paid particular attention to developing metal designs, especially Brushed Stainless Steel for its lasting attractiveness. It may be used on its own or combined with very different materials such as wood, glass and concrete, and also looks very elegant alongside contemporary constructions. The company  uses only Stainless Steel 316 L (marine grade) due to its excellent resistance to corrosion.

D'un Jardin à l'Autre also works with Zinc and galvanised Steel, using different colours to obtain material effects and thus adapt our products to a wide range of outdoor developments or combine them with traditional local colours linked to certain geographical areas. Although metal is still, without doubt, the trend, they cannot ignore the undeniable warmth of wood. The tropical woods as Teak and Iroko or the Northern Pine log still play a central role in the collection.

Giulio Gianturco
Born in 1953, Giulio Gianturco graduated in medicine and surgery (specialising in medical hydroclimatology and thermal medicine, and phlebology). Starting from the Eighties he participated in many regattas and learned to appreciate and love the characteristics of various technical materials (stainless steel, aramid fibres, ...). From there he learned to transfer his experiences with these materials to designing and building the first pieces for his home. He began to receive requests from friends and started short production runs. In 2008, after a sabbatical spent in the USA, he left the practice of medicine, only to follow the design product.
