Their workshop has been awarded the label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Enterprise) and is an exclusive member of Ateliers d'Art de France. Every-day, craftsmen in their workshop skilfully perpetuate accurate ancestral gestures which contributed to the worldwide reputation of the Anduze vase over the years. They have come to master the art of hand throwing, modelling and stamping the clay; firing it once sufficien-tly dry to be glazed thus obtaining a full range of colours and aspects.

They draw our inspiration from the combined ancient history of gardens and glazed terra cotta. The Green Oak pottery has always been a step ahead proudly claiming an innovative functioning while firmly defending an authentic French made unsurpassed hand made quality either for the traditional Anduze Jaspered" color or its worldwide famous "Antica" patina. The final use for Anduze planters is multiple and varied: balconies, flat roofs, private patios, interior decoration, swimming pool surroundings, hotel and restaurant lobbies...

Michael Konig

Michael Koenig was born in 1971 in Aachen, Germany. After his high school education, he trained as a cabinetmaker, then obtained a degree in design, then taught product development at the University of Aachen. At the same time, he began to work on his own projects, and his style attracted brands such as Habitat and Ligne Roset, who would be his first international clients.

Michael Koenig loves the material, since his childhood he is immersed in the universe of his grandparents who are craftsmen, materials and creation are part of his universe. In his workshop in Hamburg many projects in different fields are born / furniture, lighting, garden art... He likes to work on the material, the functionality of a daily object and he brings a new and humorous look to it. Since 2008, he has been artistic director of the Flora brand. He also collaborates with Cinna, Habitat, Freiraum, Freiheit, Louise Poulsen-Morfoso & Rapsel...
