In 1976, Guy de Maillard took a fresh look at the know-how of the Faubourg St Antoine's master cabinetmakers and created a range of products to restore antique furni ture, by simplifying the techniques and products. His success among professionals encouraged him to share his secrets in 1982 with all those passionate about anti que furniture. He created the brand Les Anciens Ebénis tes, distributed in DIY shops.

The range was then completed with solutions for leather marble and metal, also present in furnishing. Les Aciens Ébénistes is an ID Group brand. He manufactures and markets quality soaps and cleaning products for professionals under the brand name Le Briochin in honour of his home town. This know-how as a druggist is expressed through their range of products: traditional and natural remedies without superfluous for the ho me. Marc Newson was born in Sydney, Australia in 1963. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986. He had his first exhibition at the age of 23 and presented his riveted aluminium "Lockheed Lounge", which has become one of the most emblematic works of contemporary design.
