Plastic straws have been most commonly used for many years due to their low cost and ease of use. However, due to their impact on the environment, including their contribution to plastic pollution, many initiatives have been taken to reduce their use. More and more brands and establishments are adopting sustainable alternatives such as paper, bamboo or stainless steel straws, which are reusable, biodegradable or recyclable.
