    Moire - Furnishing fabrics

    ( 3 Products )
Moire Today, the word generally refers to the mechanized process invented in 1843 by Tignat, a Lyon manufacturer. The method consists of crushing a wet fabric, often on the side, by energizing by folding it over itself (head on head). The crushed frame deviates slightly and gives a rippled effect by reflecting light on the crushed ribs. All of these processes give a moist effect.
