Sabet Persepolis

A tradition passed down generations to Franck Sabet: « An enduring passion for carpets ». After studying medecine and completing specialist training in endocrinology Franck Sabet, decided in 1978 to join the family's passion. He created the Sabet Persepolis brand the first French brand of Carpets, distributed today by leading department stores. En 1993, Franck Sabet founded the French Center for oriental carpets [Centre Français des tapis d'Orient] and opened a Gallery of art and carpets at 217, rue de Faubourg St Honoré. The Galleries rapidly became a meeting place for connoisseurs of carpets. In partnership with the UNESCO, the Centre organized exhibitions, notably as part of the program « Road of the Silk: roads of dialogue ». The Franck Sabet gallery, is entirely dedicated to the art of the carpet. Every carpet is unique and tells a story by drawings. The traces left by time find in each hand woven carpet a magical home.
