Giorgio Ricciardi founded the workshop Laboratorio Città di Castello in Umbria Castello in 1992 after graduating at the Polytechnic School of design in Milan. Seventeen years of research in the ceramic sector, and more specifically in the so-called "land at high temperatures". Over the years Giorgio Ricciardi has developed its experience and its research service of artistic experimentation in making unique pieces and objects in small prints.More recently the workshop Laboratorio Castello has developed its activity and has made series of ceramics and more many for important brand of fashion, most notably Armani Casa, as well as other major brands operating in the sector of ceramics with research and trend while achieving an interesting balance between handicraft realization and semi-industrial product. Since this year Laboratorio Castello adds in parallel to its production a unique collection
