    Isamu Noguchi

    A designer from whom much has taken up. Isamu Noguchi was born in Los Angeles, of americano-japonesa descent. During his childhood, Noguchi lived in Japan and their years of schooling in America. He worked in France and in Japan. In the early 1930s, he moved to New York, then worked as an artist/designer. Play areas designed and mounted the stage for the dancer Martha Graham, as well as furniture for the show and more. His best-known works include Nurse Bakelite Radio (1938). He designed an ostentatious genuine glass dining table and an elegant coffee (still available) table whose glass plate rests on a structure that resembles a Japanese Kanji (1947) symbol. He designed the Akari lamps made of paper and Rod, which made him famous internationally
