Melogranoblu begins its activity in 1997 when Massimo Crema and Ermanno Rocchi create their first collection of ?bright forms? using blown glass. Thanks to its tremendous ornamental impact, this first collection is being soon recognized by professional dealers as an extraordinary scenic element that can immediately define the designed space. Moreover the two artists do not limit themselves to designing their creations but personally supervise their production, which they entrust to selected and highly specialized Italian craftsmen. Their production, entirely hand-manufactured, is thus guaranteed to be of the highest quality. OPERA COLLECTION The Opera collection, with its glittering blown glasses and long fringes of colorful silk, has intimations of the decorative spirit of the past century?s first decades. A combination of details reminiscent of the Grand Hotels? sumptuous Halls and elements from decadent Parisian alcoves, both used and re-visited as contemporary objects, is what makes this collection supremely apt to create the perfect setting for both moments of magical intimacy and public events. This is, in short, a cross-collection for places and spaces where the ?public? and the ?private? can harmoniously go hand in hand. HYDRA COLLECTION Hand blown glass elements in different shapes, transparent or frosted, which reflect and diffuse the light, suspended by a special coloured copper tubular to compose bright architectonic creations of great visual impact. The individual fixing system to the ceiling and the possibility to distribute the glassed at any point along the tubular make the realisation of complex and even large compositions possible.
