Founded in 1908 in Paris, France, CHARLES is internationally recognized for its originality in interior lighting and décor. CHARLES is one of the few remaining workshops in the world to perpetuate the unparalleled know-how and tradition of French metalworking. CHARLES also knows how to satisfy even its most demanding international clients. The workshops give its turners, chasers, setters and other artists ideal conditions in which to work, which further contributes to the tradition of excellence so closely associated with the CHARLES brand. Thanks to its relationships with world-renown architects and decorators, CHARLES has, over the decades, played an important role in the elegance and prestige of the interiors of many French public and private estates, both in France and abroad. All our works are signed and numbered. A CHARLES lamp is a true work of art ' each model is considered a sculpture, a unique object entirely hand-made by highly qualified and talented artists. This also why we sometimes refer to our products and 'interior jewellery'. In 2024, CHARLES is presenting BLOOM, a new collection created in collaboration with Uchronia, as well as new models by sculptor Félix Agostini.
