Kaare Klint

Kaare Klint Kaare Klint is often referred to as the founder of Danish Modern. In the 1920s he took the initiative to establish the School of Furniture Design of the Academy of Fine Arts, and he became the first professor in 1944. The Church Chair which he designed in 1936 for the Bethlehem Church and later to be found in the spectacular Grundtvig Church is the oldest chair in the Fritz Hansen collection still in production.
