Francois Cante Pacos

I pick up pebbles, wood, scrap..., these objects have in common, the imprint of time (erosion, deterioration, staining...), their aging is, for me, the reading of their lives to open. I represent me an inventory of similar forms in a book of sketches or photographs. In the workshop, I realize moulding and impression of these collected objects. I also have the possibility to use the same shape changing him, texture and color to trigger a poetic shock created by the transposition of materials. Thus solicited by the poetics of the object, I work on the memory of the place, its space, its light, its density, the perceived impression. F. CANTE-PAÇOS
