Vion

VION was founded in 1830 and has always manufactured navigation equipment, in particular compasses and marine instruments. Quickly, their quality, VION instruments were present on all oceans and have equipped with the largest merchant ships of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. VION has equipped aircraft of all pioneers of the heroic years, since the "louse of the sky" to "As" then the raids such as Paris/Saigon or crossing the Atlantic in 1930. Since 1945, many military programs have been also equipped with compass VION, in particular the "Mirage" and "Mystery" aircraft. VION is also the creator of the famous compass bearing MINI 2000, mythical object of yachting, which revolutionized - because of its legendary qualities - coastal navigation. Historically-oriented innovation, VION has filed dozens of patent
