WHO WE ARECadeirão Acabamentos e Restauro de Mobiliário® is a firm dedicated to furniture finishing and targets the luxury sector. We collaborate with some of the most worldwide known portuguese interior designers and arquitects. Around 90% of the pieces we finish are destined to foreigner markets. We are specialized in gold, silver and cooper gilding.WHAT WE DO The gilding technique became popular in Europe in the Baroque period. This technique was soon extended to the furniture of the royal houses. Years later, Gustav Klimt used it in his famous painting The Kiss, among others. At Cadeirão Acabamentos e Restauro de Mobilário ® we are specialized in the gilding technique – gold, silver and copper. In addition to the classic finishings by using our experience in the production of more modern finishing, such as the high gloss lacquer and varnish, we present new approaches to the gilding technique, resulting in differentiated, sumptuous and contemporary finishes. Dégradé and translucent finishings are some of the examples.
