Roots Established by designer Angela Gidden MBE, attic 2 has been designing and producing a portfolio of contemporary upholstery for our established client base of architects, specifiers, interior designers, end users, private residential clients and design led retailers since 1999. Our furniture is British designed and hand made to order to a high contract specification in our production facility in Wales. Design Our design ethos is to create furniture concepts of design excellence that offer individual, distinctive, flexible and sustainable solutions for a broad spectrum of environments. Our solution is never one design, but an evolution of many! We provide distinctive seating solutions for use in a wide spectrum of commercial and domestic environments ' bars, clubs, restaurants, health clubs, hotels, receptions, visual merchandise, exhibitions, breakout areas, television sets and residential. We work closely with clients on a diverse range of projects. In addition our design team can also provide a bespoke design and product modification service, fabric sourcing and selection, all quoted on an individual basis. Quality We believe our quality speaks for itself but we consistently look to improve on what we achieve. Without compromise, all of our products are built to a high contract specification and are handmade with a high degree of craftsmanship ensuring immaculate attention to detail in materials and finishes at all times. Our policy is 100% quality and longevity. All frames are engineered and built to a high contract specification using timber from FSC certified forests. Constructed from solid birch hardwood our frames are glued, stapled and screwed. All upholstery complies with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) regulations 1988. All CMHR foams are tested to meet BS5828:2 and all upholstery conform to BS5852 crib 5 for contract use. All fabrics used on our upholstery meets the test requirements for resistance to cigarette and match ignition.
