The TOULOUSE based company ROSIE et LEON was born of a meeting of the minds between Pascale DUMONS, with her 20 years of experience as a professional artist, and Marie DENIS-FARGE, an avid collector of Pascale's paintings, now responsible for the firm's business development.Pascale DUMONS is not only a visual artist; she is also design consultant for companies working on the creation of fabric lines. Several years ago, she turned toward the production of decorative paintings and wall hangings for businesses and homes via her website www.toilesdecoratives.com.Thanks to her mastery of all the pictorial techniques, from trompe l'oeil to patinas, she has worked with antiquarias and artists in France and across EUROPE. She chiefly draws her inspiration from artwork of the 15th, 18th and 19 th centuries, from which she extracts characters and animals that she continuously revisits and makes her own, in pursuit of an effect that is simultaneaously modern and poetic.
