Established in 1990 by Monica Missio and Richard Cleves, CX Design's complete collection is individually hand-crafted by master Italian glass blowers on Murano, an island just north of Venice - the centuries old, undisputed center of the world's most treasured glass. Headquartered in New York, CX NY specializes in designing and working with artisans who blow scavo glass, a traditional, Italian glassmaking... technique that creates glass with an excavated (scavo) appearance. The company also offers translucent, milk glass lighting options. CX lighting fixtures are unique, delicate, colorful and elegant. Well suited for residential and commercial applications, these glass fixtures are as versatile as they are inspiring. The CX lighting collection includes pendants, semi-flushmounts, flushmounts, wall sconces, and table lamps.
