Mibo

In 2001, Madeleine Rogers left her career in art directing to start up her company mibo. Her intention was to create original, yet affordable interiors products. First off the press were the distinctive patterned lampshades, still a firm favourite, all bearing seaside inspired names and mibo's now familiar bold colour palette. 2004 sees the inclusion of two of these lampshade designs, Hornsea and Selsey, into Habitats s/s 2004 collection, both in brand new colours exclusive to Habitat. Madeleine is currently working on a new range of teacups and teatowels to be released before Christmas, as well as developing an exciting line of wallpapers, featuring some of the favourite Mibo designs, due to be pasted up early next year.
