Antoinette Poisson

Julie Stordiau, Vincent Farrelly & Jean-Baptiste Martin are a trio of heritage restaurateurs who specialize in wallpaper, graduates of the National Heritage Institute and the Sorbonne. Long-time friends, they found themselves on the restoration and reconstruction sites of historic interior. It is on the site of a historic mansion Auvergne that they discover residues of dominotés papers under layers of wallpapers that the centuries had accumulated. To restore it, they plunge into the history of the Dominoterie and are passionate about this craft technique fallen into oblivion. In 2012, they joined and challenged themselves to revive this French know-how representative of the decorative arts of the eighteenth century. They founded the company in Paris at Antoinette Poisson ; Name given in homage to the Marquise de Pompadour, born Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, amateur of the arts and great amateur of wallpapers.
