Alexandra Bernaudin was born and raised in Paris where she studied architecture at the Beaux-Arts. She worked for Agency Gilles and Boissier on plans for restaurants, shops as well as on residential projects and notably on the project of a boat sailing for an individual. She was then engaged by the eyewear designer Alain Mikli to develop his concept of shops developed by Philippe Starck in the world, in particular in the Japan. Initiated by Philippe Starck in 2007, Alexandra was in charge of the project YOO (luxury residential projects) and has collaborated on the project of the Yamu hotel
