    Julie Richoz

    Activité : Designer
Julie Richoz was born in 1990, she lives and works in Switzerland. After graduating from the ECAL/Ecole cantonal d'art de Lausanne, she worked for Pierre Charpin as Project assistant. She is a beloved Franco-Swiss designer. In 2012 she created her studio in Paris where she developed her own language full of curiosity and sensibility through objects. All just graduated, the young designer distinguished herself by winning all the votes of the design Parade at Villa Noailles, as well as the Grand Prix for her basket and her birch tray. Two objects playing with subtlety on the flexibility of the wood, while resuming the crenellated cutting of a metal clamp. As a designer, she resided in Sèvres, Cité de la ceramics, as well as at Cirva, an International research Centre on arts and glass in Marseille. Julie Richoz collaborates on projects with beautiful recognized brands/Alessi, Artecnica, Louis Pulseen, Louis Vuitton... In 2015, she received the Swiss Design Award, the first national competition organized annually by the FOC (federal Office of Culture created since 1918).
