Naoto Fukasawa

Naoto Fukasawa was born in 1956 in Yamanashi Prefecture. He graduated in product design at the Tama Art University in 1980. The same year he joined the Japanese company Seiko Epson, specializing in electronics. In 1989 he moved to the United States and worked for Silicon Vallkey companies. He returned to 1996 in his native country, headed the IDEO Office in Tokyo and created a pool of Japanese design consultants. In 2003 he became independent and founded his agency Naoto Fukasawa design. It creates for many European companies, Asians and Northern countries. His creations cover a wide variety of fields/electronic equipment, furniture, and the universe of the House. Its objects have clean features and are recognized in an international way. He enjoys transmitting and teaching at the integrated design Department of the Tama Art University. He received the title of Royal Designer for industry from the Royal Society of Arts in London.
