Milkywood

Play with shapes and wood to make children dream. When my daughter was 3 years old I wanted to find her a beautiful doll's house, simple, modern, not stereotyped, in natural matter, not too expensive .... And in the face of the reduced offer available to me, I decided to create one. Being a designer and working in a makerspace where I had my own digital cutting machine this was quite possible for me. This house was immediately a great success, so I decided to make it my main activity and develop a whole universe around it. That's when I created my own MilkyWood brand, a collection of wooden objects for young and old. These objects of soft, clean and modern shapes are designed and manufactured in Paris with a concern for the economy of matter and means. These are mostly simple cuts in a wooden plank that by the play of the assemblages takes shape in volume. Milkywood promotes small-scale local production, human relationships, the use of natural matter and the economy of means to create simple, ethical, timeless and playful objects.
