Axelle De Russé

Axelle de Russé is a French freelance photojournalist. She reports on long periods of time in France and abroad. His work is exhibited in many festivals and galleries, such as Visa for the Image, Paris Photo, Artcurial, Cosmos Gallery. In 2005 she received the Canon Prize for the Woman Photojournalist, for her work on the Return of concubines in Chi ne. In 2014 she received a grant from the National Center for Plastic Arts (CNAP) for The Inner War report on sexual violence in the French army. For her project Out she has the Pierre and Alexan dre Boulat 2019 prize. Outside is the story of life after prison for women which represents in France 3.6% of the prison population. It is an invisible, ostracized, isolated minority. Their reintegration is a slow vio journey. The prize is supported by the Scam (civil society of authors).
