From 1826 to the present day in Gambettola's Pascucci workshop, the suggestive and unique procedure of xylographic printing is relived; hand-carved wooden dies, impregnated with colouring paste, decorate linen fabrics with geometric, floral or animal figures that are part of the rich popular iconographic heritage. The Pascucci family of Gambettola is the oldest witness of this art: for seven generations, it has hosted and renewed this activity in respect of traditions and in the spirit of innovation.
