Fort Standard

In 2008 Gregory Buntain graduated in Industrial Design, and works for a small furniture manufacturer. In 2011, he founded Fort Standard, his contemporary design agency, to make custom furniture. Gregory Buntain launches his FS Objects line, a collection of furniture but also a range of small household items adjusted in real time at home. His approach is to merge progressive design with an obsessive approach to craftsmanship. His creations are marked by the seal of simplicity and func tionality. He has become one of the most sought-after designers in the world of custom-made and handmade products. His work is elegant and discreet. He likes the creations of Donald Judd, Isamu Noguchi and Poul Kjaerholm.
