Rhonda Drakeford

Rhonda Drakeford lives and works in London. She studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins in London. In 1997 she set up a multidisciplinary consultancy firm "Multistorey" with Harry Wooddrow. She is known for her innovative use of materials and processes. Soon she worked on major projects such as the Museum of Design, V&A and the Science Museum. In 2009, Rhonda Drakeford teamed up with Lulu Roper-Caldbeck to open a store called "Darkroom" offering design objects. Highly appreciated and acclaimed by the critics, this black-painted showroom brings a different look in the world of decoration and offers international interior accessories.


In 2016 the brand closes its London stores to focus on online sales and Rhonda Drakeford remains Creative Director. In 2018 she launches her own studio and of fers her talent to both individuals and companies. Her work is intrepid, graphic, colourful and very playful. She loves strong colours, textures and eye-catching pat terns.
