Tropilex

Tropilex produces superb hammocks and hanging chairs. This between takes designs and produces as sustainably and honestly as possible. Tropilex hammocks and hanging chairs are hand-woven and finished by traditional hammock weavers in Colombia and India. Working with these companies to design and produce Tropilex hammocks and hanging chairs is a real pleasure. We monitor the production of all Tropilex products as closely as possible. We visit factories ourselves, monitor working conditions and check the quality of our products tirelessly. The wooden feet come from well-managed Scandinavian forests and are made in a dedicated carpentry in Poland. Tropilex wooden feet are FSC certified. Metal feet and suspension equipment are produced in China, mainly in two small family businesses with very friendly and caring members, 450 km from Shanghai. We also try to determine as best as possible the origin of the raw materials and the conditions under which they are extracted. We can't tell the difference everywhere and all the time, but inaction is not an option. We take care of our products to allow you to relax serenely in your new hammock or Tropilex hanging chair!
