Lisa Allegra

Born in 1986, Lisa Allegra completed a year of faculty of plastic art at the Sorbonne, then five years of study at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg. She graduated in 2010 with a specialty in furniture design. She does internships and works for several years in design studios. Lisa Allegra is passionate about matter: earth, clay, ceramics. By choosing this material, she has a better control over its manufacture because she can choose small series and orchestrate logistics. Each piece is handmade and becomes a unique object. In her work Lisa Allegra plays with the contrast between fragility and robustness, there is just a balance to be found. That's all his work.
