    After completing his law studies, Jean-Philippe Demeyer opened an antique gallery because he loved beauty. A lawyer by training, he started working as an antique dealer in 1998. In 2008 he founded JPDemeyer&Co with Franc Ver Elst. He is a decorator and interior designer. He devotes his life to furniture and objects and explains that they have no sentimental value for him. For him, decorating means adding things that are not necessary. Jean-Philippe Demeyer confides: I feel like an antique dealer and creator, I create atmospheres, confrontations, contrasts.
