Each piece called for another, as if the potentialities were infinite. The subject took precedence over the material: how the material can serve the subject and how the subject, which is quite banal, can be declined with so many possibilities. In concrete terms, I use the material that is wire, using different diameters, in order to play on the volumes, the thinness or the stiffness of the thickest. This wire, a vulgar material, takes itself for a diva, it tries to get out of its common condition to become a work of art, noble, and to make us forget its very small state.
