Paola Paronetto

Paola Paronetto is an Italian ceramist. She began her training at a very young age working between Umbria and Tuscany, where she learned clay working techniques and established her first contacts with a world that immediately fascinated her. After more than thirty years of personal research and experimentation with many ceramic techniques and materials, she decided to focus on paper clay in 2000. Thus was born the Cartocci collection, a rich series of sculptural objects created by means of long and very laborious procedures. In addition to making design objects for the main furniture stores in Italy and abroad, Paola also devotes herself to more personal artistic pieces, aimed at the modern art market. His works are regularly exhibited at international art and design fairs, such as Milan Design Week, and in art galleries, including Ille Arts in New York and the Contemporary Ceramic Centre in London, which has dedicated a solo exhibition to him.
