Leather Master

In 1975 the chain of leather furniture stores called ?Skinngrupen? started in Sweden. Through these outlets, it`s members became specialists in leather, its finishes and its care. Over several years their knowledge expanded to cover every aspect of repair and leather care. In 1984 Mr Ake Hjorth and Mr Sten Arne Lorin, the managers of Skinngruppen, decided to start their own care and repair service. They devised a complete program of products from different suppliers to cover preventative care and repair of all types of leather. In 1985 Leather Master trade mark created and development of product and techniques for care, protection and repair of leather to be marketed under the Leather Master name and logo. The growth of Leather Master has continued and is represented on all continents including most industrial centres around the world. The Leather Master concept is built on extremely high leather knowledge and years of experience by its owners, and can now solve any leather finish problem, including: A complete care program of consumer products A complete repair program by specially trained personnel Finishing products and processes, generally and/or custom made Consulting activities for tanneries, manufactures and retailers. Leather Master are at the forefront of world development of new leather care products. This will guarantee the future growth of the Leather Master organisation, and in 1992 a U.K subsidiary was being set up. This is run by Peter Brown in Long Eaton covering England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. In 1994 Leather Master Craftsman network of leather repair and renovation experts started with training course at Long Eaton and annual meetings to update Craftsmen on new leather developments and latest repair techniques. In 1997 Leather Master introduced Leather Warranties through Guardian their associate company using Leather Master care products and the Leather Master Craftsman for servicing. In 1998 new expanded distribution and training facilities opened at Long Eaton. In 2000 network of Leather Master Craftsman covers UK with over 30 trained operators.
