There is also the classic Old Berlin baseboard in a height of 15 cm, a smaller alternative. If you would like higher paneling, you can take advantage of our quality GOLDDECOR wall paneling. Alternatively, a simpler wall paneling solution is to just affix a second upper border on the wall and paint everything in the same color, transforming the high baseboard into wall paneling. We did extensive research on the mouldings of the last centuries. We went to the castles on the banks of the Loire River in France and to British nobles? houses. Consultations with historians, restaurateurs, and carpenters as well as a lot of drafts and models showed us exactly how sophisticated high baseboards should look. And as much as we enjoy the beautiful, antique high baseboards, we also thought it was important to take modern requirements and techniques into consideration.
