A lever cabinet is a type of cabinet used to store, organize and protect documents. It is equipped with levers on the sides of the binder cover, which allow to compress the metal rings inside to keep the sheets of paper in place.

When the levers are raised, the rings open to allow the easy addition or removal of perforated sheets.
