QUADRILAND ( E3)
Limited edition to 7 copies
Designer: FRANÇOIS DELCLAUX
Cotton tapestry
169Lx128cmH

Conceptualized by François Delclaux, Quadriland reproduces in weaving, as its title indicates it, a process of impression quadri. But the originality of this last one, it is because it has 7 colors instead of four of the traditional impression quadri. This creativity was worth to him the Price of the Discoveries of the show Maison&Objet Projet for the edition of September, 2010. Realized from a photography of landscape digitized and crossed in the Cyan, magenta, yellow and black filters ( CMJN) to reduce the number of colors of the photo, this cotton tapestry was weaved in the proportions of the picture, the photo so retranscribing: every point amounts to a pixel.

  • Origin : FRANCE
  • Materials : Cotton
  • Color : Silver
  • Style : Contemporary
  • Pattern : Landscape
  • Designer : François Delclaux
  • Date of creation : 2010
