Transparent Torso (E1) Limited edition to 6 copies Designer: ARNOLD PANDER Cotton tapestry 160Lx220Hcm The perception, the report of the spectator in the Tapestry, the optical games are omnipresent in Arnold Pander's works. Transparent Torso is a tapestry which takes the spectator to the discovery of the human body through " channels of colors ". He makes visible the invisible world of the body. The preparatory workis realized by thinking "of weaving", by means of copies which are associated colors (red for veins etc.) The bottom as for him is worked pixel by pixel in three colors (green, blue and red), which by far mix optiquement to give a grey. Transparent Torso is a tapestry which enters narrow relation with the spectator thanks to a sound composition which livens up him. Here, the Tapestry is no more congealed, it becomes livened up and offers a visual and sound universe.
