Come with its full set of pink opaline glass comprising in particular a large basin and an ewer.The Second Empire has introduced two novelty, the comfortable chairs and furniture lacquer inlaid with mother of pearl. Lacquered furniture and paper mache inlaid with mother of pearl, gold highlights and flower motifs are developed under the reign of Louis-Philippe. The specialists, Goudel, Osmont Mainfroy exhibit from 1834The origins of the furniture is of course the Far East, but another orgine is closer, especially this technique of applying painting on papier mache, which comes from England then flooded Europe with its products.
