Manuscripts and typescript. *A typescript of in-quarto seven sheets (21 x 27 cm [8-1/4 x 10-1/2 in.]) entitled « Causerie du Maréchal Lyautey (Dîner des journalistes alsaciens-lorrains ? 9 Mai 1923) [Talk by Marshall Lyautey (Press conference Alscace-Lorrain Region - May 9, 1923)] », signed « Lyautey » (by typewriter). The text contains numerous signed corrections in ink or black lead. The Marshall evokes his childhood in Lorraine, his military career, the French colonies in Africa and the Far East, the French army, etc. Numbered sheets from [1]-3 and 5-8 (sheet 4 is lacking?), **3 signed, autographed letters and 1 autograph note is signed by the Colonal where General Lyautey addressed to ladies (1903, 1908, 1909 & 1912).*** 2 signed autographed letters (2 ff in-quatro and 2 in-octavo) by Pierre Lyautey, nephew of the Marshall, to President Robert Schuman (1948), accompanied with donation of the first two documents.
