Description

The silk jacquard "O Rio Canta" depicts an undulating pattern full of poetry. Its irregular linen weft plays with matt and shiny contrasts with the silk warp, giving the fabric presence and character. As a finishing touch, a subtle heat treatment allows the acrylic thread to shrink: it widens the gap between the pattern and its crevices, giving the design its relief and swelling. The thirteen colours of "O Rio Canta" can be matched with those of "Perles du Désert", the other silk jacquard in the "Le Chant du Kayapó" collection.
