The CONTRASTO series design conceived by Michela Cattai arises from the desire to explore the medium of glass, and from the need to acquaint the public with a global contemporary concept, focused on recycling a substance that today is fundamental to our society. By salvaging glass through the use of cotisso the artist has created works with an innovative appearance: recycling the material, transforming it into a gem. It is a study of glass's potential through a magnificent interpretation of the expression of Murano blown glass executed by the expert hands of Venini's master glassblowers, who gave shape to the artist's creative idea.
