This is the most common towel dryer; it is connected to the central heating system and works like a traditional radiator. Manufacturers offer several models in different shapes and sizes. To make them independent of your central heating circuit, you need to fit the installation with a control system that allows you to set a 2nd independent heating circuit, or a separate manual control (separate switch and pump).

It combines the flexibility of an electric towel dryer with the economy of central heating. Its advantage is that it is available in electric mode during the shoulder seasons when the central heating is not in use. However, if you opt for independent control and your boiler runs all year round to produce your domestic hot water, you can enjoy the same benefits with a water-fired towel warmer. It is subject to the same constraints as the electric version for its location in the room (NF standards, be of class 2 type).
