Description

Funeral mirror, of circular shape. Obverse with concentric decor of lobes around the rim, surrounding foliage design, and at the center a double square containing archaic characters and foliage, framing a round knob. Flat reverse. Bronze with encrusted green and red patina. China, Western Han Dynasty Period (206 BC - 24 AD). Obvious signs of use and great age, otherwise good condition.
