With four-stage brass barrel engraved London at the breech and turned and belled at the muzzle, signed lock and figured walnut full-stock, fitted with engraved brass mounts including side-plate, butt-plate and trigger-guard complete with ramrod

Robert Wilson was made Free of the Gunmaker?s Company in 1742 and Master in 1764. He was gun-maker to the Hudson?s Bay Company from 1766, he died in 1772.
