A FINE FRENCH HUNTING SWORD, circa 1770
With ivory hilt carved as a Lion with paste eyes and tapering to the quillon block with a twisted silverwire and silver ribbon grip . The silver quillon block is stamped with unidentified marks having recurved globular quillons. The single edged blade tapering to the point with various fullers of differing sizes ending close to the tip.
