Artist Biography:
Ketty Gilsoul-Hoppe was a painter and watercolourist of landscapes, flowers and portraits. She was a student of Henri Hendrickx, Edouard Tourteau and Jean Portaels. She married the renowned Belgian painter Victor Gilsoul in 1894. Ketty?s work is dominated by bright colours and her subject matter is essentially typical and synthetic.
