    Description

    Skeleton clock with a dial decorated with cartouche-shaped enamels in relief representing the signs of the zodiac.
    It is embellished with heads of satyrs and fauns.
    The clock indicates the seconds, the date of the months, and the months of the year.
    The oval base is in "sea green" marble.

    Period: Louis XVI, the dial is dated 1782 and the spring 1783.

    Signature: J.J Lepaute de Bellefontaine, received as a master clockmaker in 1775.
